Pigs Wrapped in Bacon

 
 

Servings: 8

Ingredients: 

  • 1- 14 oz pack of mini beef smokies/sausages 

  • 1 lb bacon slices (about 12 slices)

  • 2 tbsp brown sweetener 

  • 2 tbsp Texas Pete Original Hot Sauce

  • Chopped parsley 

Dipping sauces:

  • Texas Pete Original Hot sauce 

Directions: 

  1. Preheat the oven to 42F. You may also use an airfryer.

  2. Cut your bacon into thirds. 

  3. Open your pack of mini beef wieners. You can have these cooked beforehand by boiling them. 

  4. Wrap your mini beef smokies with your bacon. Place on a lined baking sheet and bake for 5-7 minutes until your bacon is ¾ cooked. 

  5. Remove your sheet from the oven and sprinkle brown sweetener on top. Cook for an additional 5 minutes until your bacon is crispy. 

  6. Place your pigs wrapped in bacon on an appetizer tray, add toothpicks on each and fill up your dip containers with your sauces!
