Servings: 4

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb ground beef

  • Salt and pepper to taste

  • Sliced cheddar cheese

  • Sliced roma tomatoes

  • Sliced onions (or make your own caramelized!)

  • 2 cups shredded lettuce

  • Optional - Homemade burger buns

Sauce:

  • ½ cup mayo

  • 1 tbsp sweetener

  • 1-2 pickle spears, finely diced or 2 tbsp relish

  • 1 tbsp yellow mustard

  • 1-2 tbsp distilled white vinegar

  • 3 tbsp unsweetened ketchup

Directions:

  1. In a large bowl, add your ground beef and season your ground beef with salt and pepper. Roll your patties into balls, flattening them into patties.

  2. Heat up a saute pan on medium high heat and cook your patties, flipping them after 3-4 mins. Add your slice of cheese on top and cook until melty.

  3. While your patties are cooking, make your sauce in a separate bowl by adding all of your sauce ingredients.

  4. Assemble your meal prep containers by placing your shredded lettuce at the bottom,  your burger with cheese, tomatoes, onions and top with your homemade sauce!

  5. If you’re prepping them in your meal prep containers, you can place them separately in your containers.
