Low Carb French Toast

 
 

Yields: 8

Ingredients:

Bread - 

  • 1.5 cups almond flour 

  • 8 eggs

  • ½ cup unsalted melted butter

  • 4 tbsp baking powder

French Toast Mix - 

  • 1 cup almond milk

  • 2 eggs

  • ¼ cup sweetener

  • Dash of cinnamon 

Directions:

  1. In a bowl mix well all ingredients 

  2. Pour into lightly greased mold 

  3. Microwave for 3 mins seconds, allow to cool. 

  4. Slice your bread into 8 equal pieces and start your french toast station 

  5. In a large mixing bowl or 9x9 dish, crack and whisk your 2 eggs. Add your almond milk, sweetener and cinnamon and whisk your french toast mix until combined. 

  6. Dip your bread into your french toast mix.

  7. In a saute pan, with a tbsp of butter and add your dipped bread on the pan. 

  8. Cook for 3-4 minutes on each side. Remove from the pan and add your sugar free syrup and whipped cream!
