Keto Cinnamon Rolls
Here’s an easy delicious low carb cinnamon roll recipe that you can make any time of day. It’s a non fat head dough recipe and the cream cheese frosting brings it over the top!
Servings: 10
Ingredients:
Dough
1 1/2 cups of almond flour
1.5 tablespoons of tapioca flour (I used this one: https://amzn.to/3osBXdD) OR 1 tbsp arrowroot
1/8 of a teaspoon of baking soda
1 tablespoon of sweetener (I used this: https://amzn.to/30uR2kx)
Pinch of salt
1 egg
2 tablespoons of melted butter
1 tablespoons of Choczero maple syrup
1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
Cinnamon Mixture
2 tablespoons of butter
1 teaspoon of cinnamon
3 tablespoons of sweetener (I used this: https://amzn.to/30uR2kx)
Cream cheese icing
2 ounces of softened cream cheese (I use Philadephia)
1 tablespoon of softened butter (I used KerryGold)
1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
1/4 cup of powdered sweetener (I used this: https://amzn.to/30uR2kx)
A pinch of salt
1 tbsp unsweetened almond milk
Directions:
In a large bowl, mix the dry ingredients in a bowl (first 5 ingredients)
In another bowl add in wet ingredients, the butter, syrup, extract, and egg. Then combine wet and dry ingredients to form a soft dough bake.
Wrap in plastic and place in fridge for 15 minutes.
Take two parchments paper and lightly spray avocado oil to help roll dough out
Spread cinnamon mixture
Roll into log and slices evenly
Place in the prepared pan slightly reshaping them.
Bake at 350 for 15 to 20 minutes while baking make cream cheese frosting
Spread on baked rolls! Enjoy warm or cold!
