The Only Chicken Recipe You'll Ever Need

Servings: 6

Ingredients:

  • 2 lbs bone in chicken 

Marinade mixture:

  • ½ jalapeno 

  • 1 bunch cilantro 

  • ¼ cup unsweetened greek yogurt

  • 1 lemon, juiced

  • 2 tsp chili powder

  • 1 tsp garlic powder or 2 cloves garlic minced 

  • 1 tsp onion powder

  • ½ tsp italian seasoning 

  • ½ tsp red pepper flakes

  • 1 tbsp Choczero maple syrup

  • 2 tsp salt

  • ½ tsp pepper  

  • ¼ cup avocado oil

  • Veggies of choice - onions, bell peppers, zucchini, etc.

Directions: 

  1. Preheat your oven to 400F

  2. Make your marinade by adding all of the ingredients into your blender. You don’t need to use a blender, you can just finely dice everything, however, a blender will give you a smooth marinade. 

  3. Wash and pat dry your chicken fully. 

  4. Lather your marinade on your chicken and let it sit for about 10-15 minutes. At this point, prep any veggies of choice.

  5. Place your chicken in a glass and oven safe pan skin side up and bake for 30-40 mins until the internal temperature is 165F.
