Low Carb McChicken

 
 

Servings: 4

Ingredients:

  • 2 chicken breasts, cut in half (4 pieces total)

  • 2 tbsp yellow mustard 

  • 1 cup unflavored protein powder 

  • 2 eggs 

  • Salt and pepper to taste 

  • 1 tsp garlic powder

  • 1 tsp onion powder 

  • 1 cup shredded lettuce 

  • ¼ cup avocado oil mayo 

  • 4 low carb burger buns or my homemade almond buns

Directions:

  1. In a large bowl, add your 4 chicken breasts in a bowl and season with yellow mustard, garlic powder, onion powder, salt and pepper. 

  2. In a separate bowl, crack your eggs and whisk them. You can season your egg mixture with salt and pepper. 

  3. In another shallow bowl, make your breading by adding your protein powder and seasonings. 

  4. Using tongs, take one chicken breast at a time 

  5. You can either airfry or shallow fry with avocado oil.

  6. Once its golden brown you can assemble your McChicken with the sauces and toppings!
