Low Carb CrunchWrap Supreme

Ingredients:

Taco Meat:

  • 1 lb ground beef 

  • 2 tbsp taco seasoning 

  • 1 tbsp avocado oil

Tostadas:

  • 2 A La Madre Low Carb Tortillas (discount code lowcarblove)

  • Avocado oil (to shallow fry)  

Wrap:

  • 5-6 leaves head lettuce (choose the bigger pieces for the wrap) 

  • 2 tbsp queso

  • 1/3 cup shredded Mexican blend cheese

  • 1/3 cup tomato, diced 

  • 1/3 cup onion, diced 

  • 1 tbsp sour cream

  • Optional: Hot sauce or Taco sauce 

Directions:

  1. Start off by making your crispy tostadas! Add avocado oil to your pot or pan. After the oil gets hot, add your low carb tortilla and shallow fry until it’s light golden brown. Set aside. 

  2. Heat a separate pan over medium high heat for your ground beef.  Add your ground beef and taco seasoning and cook until the meat is fully cooked. Set aside. 

  3. Cut the stem of your head lettuce and separate leaves and keep the bigger leaves for the wrap. 

  4. Layer the leaves on top of each other with the inner part of the lettuce going towards the center. 

  5. Add your crispy tostada right in the center. Spread the queso on top and add your ground beef, cheese, tomatoes, onion, sour cream, and hot sauce! 

  6. Wrap all of the leaves in towards the center to form your crunchwrap and enjoy!
