Keto Honey Glazed Salmon
Today, I’m showing you how to make the best “Honey” Glazed Salmon. I know we typically can’t have honey on keto, so I whipped up something that tastes just like the real deal!
Ingredients:
Servings: 6
Salmon -
1 30 oz piece salmon
2 tbsp avocado oil
1 tsp salt
1/4 tsp black pepper
Sauce -
1 tbsp avocado oil
2 tbsp soy sauce or coconut aminos
1 tbsp dijon mustard
3-4 tbsp sweetener of choice (I used allulose, if you are using monkfruit or erythritol, start off with 2 and then taste)
Juice of small lime (*use only 1-2 tbsp if you want it less citrusy*)
2 tsp minced garlic
1 tsp ground ginger
½ tsp red pepper flakes
1 tbsp Choczero Sugar Free Maple syrup
Optional: ¼ tsp molasses (for a brown sugar taste)
Salt and pepper to taste
Garnish:
1 tablespoon minced cilantro for garnish
1 green onion sliced for garnish
1 lime sliced for garnish
Directions:
In a large bowl, make your sauce. Add all sauce ingredients into a bowl and mix.
Next, your salmon - pat dry your salmon.
Add avocado oil into a large pan on medium high heat.
Placing the salmon skin side down, cook your salmon for 4-5 mins. Once crispy, flip.
Cook the salmon for an additional 5-6 minutes. Add your sauce, right away, it should start caramelizing and getting thick.
Cook salmon in sauce for a minute and remove. Garnish and enjoy!
