Milk Hawaiian Bread
Servings: 6-8
Ingredients:
Milk Bread
1/2 cup of almond milk room temp
1 egg
2 tablespoons of sweetener
1 and ¼ teaspoon of instant yeast
1 ½ cup plus 2 tablespoons of wheat flour
½ teaspoon of salt
2 tablespoons of softened butter
Glaze:
2 tablespoons of softened butter
2 tablespoons of condensed milk
Directions:
Add milk, condensed milk, egg, sweetener, and yeast. Mix well
Add in flour and salt. Mix well, until dough forms
Add in butter and mix well
Kneed for 2 to 5 mins on a lightly floured
You want the dough to have stretch and elasticity
Oil a bowl and add dough and cover in a warm environment (in microwave without it on) and leave until it doubles in size for an hour
Punch air out
Cut into two pieces and roll and flatten
Roll into a log and divide into 6-8 pieces
Add to a loaf pan
Cover and let rest 45 minutes
Brush with egg wash (1 egg with 1 tbsp water)
Bake at 35 for 20 to 22 minutes
Let it cool and then brush with glaze
