Keto Beef and Broccoli

Servings: 6

Ingredients:

  • 3 tablespoons of cornstarch mix with 3 tablespoons of water (optional) 

  • 2 pounds of chuck roast, cut into thin pieces

  • 1/2 cup of low sodium soy sauce or coconut aminos

  • 3 tablespoon of sweetener 

  • ½ teaspoon of molasses 

  • 1 tablespoon of  minced garlic

  • ½ teaspoon of red pepper flakes 

  • 1 teaspoons of grated fresh ginger

  • 1 teaspoon of xanthan gum

  • 2 Tablespoons avocado oil

  • 2 cups broccoli florets

  • 1/2 cup sliced of white onions

  • Salt and pepper to taste 

  • Sesame seeds (optional) 

  • Frozen cauliflower rice found at @costco

Directions:

  1. In a bowl season meat with salt and pepper and toss in the cornstarch mixture. 

  2. In a separate small bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, molasses, red pepper flakes, sweetener , garlic and ginger. Set the sauce aside. 

  3. Heat a large nonstick sauté pan over medium heat. Add 1 tablespoon of the oil and once it is hot, add the beef and cook. 

  4. Remove the beef and set it aside.

  5. Add the remaining 1 tablespoon of oil to the pan and once it is hot, add the broccoli florets. 

  6. Return the beef to the pan then add the prepared sauce. Bring the mixture to a boil.

  7. Remove from heat and set aside. 

  8. Heat your frozen cauliflower per direction.

  9. And enjoy together!
