My Famous Sweet Broccoli Salad

My long-awaited broccoli salad recipe! This salad is a family favorite, even my nieces who hate veggies loves it :)

Servings: 8

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb broccoli florets, raw

  • 1 cup mayo

  • 2 tbsp vinegar

  • 3 tbsp sweetener

  • Dash of salt

  • 4 strips bacon, diced

  • 1/4 cup chopped nuts

  • 1 roma tomato, diced

  • 1 red onion, diced

Directions:

  1. Make your dressing by adding your mayo, apple cider vinegar, salt and sweetener in a large bowl. Mix until well combined.

  2. Dice your onion, tomato and cooked bacon if you haven't done so already.

  3. Add your sesame seed oil into your dressing and taste. Make sure your dressing is to your desired liking.

  4. Pour dressing onto the broccoli and do one mix. Add your bacon, onion and tomato and mix.

  5. Not add your nuts - at this time you can add anything else you want like cheese.

  6. Mix thoroughly and enjoy! If you want your broccoli to marinate, then cover and refrigerate for 1 hr.
